Plans for a new brewery and taproom have taken a step forward in Hoover.

The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission approved Jamie Cato’s development plan for Brock’s Gap Brewing Co. LLC’s project at 5478 Stadium Trace Parkway, according to the Hoover Sun. As we reported in July, the company previously purchased property for the project.

The full Hoover council will hear more on the proposal Nov. 16.

The project will also include indoor and outdoor live entertainment that will be visible both at the corner of Stadium Trace Parkway and Mineral Trace, and at the Hoover Met Stadium.
